Michael Corrente’s
pickpocket movie “Loosies,” which was filmed in Rhode Island during the
summer of 2010, has been picked up for distribution by IFC according to
Variety, reporting from the Toronto International Film Festival.
Facinelli began
writing the screenplay 10 years ago and after several drafts, spent five
years trying to get it produced without much luck until Rhode Island
businessman Chad A. Verdi came to the fore. The film co-stars Jaimie
Alexander, who was featured in “Thor.”
