Born William Albert Burke on November 25, 1966 in Bellingham, Washington, USA.Singing was his passion and was singing as early as age 9. By the age of 15 he started his own band.
His Film debut wasn't until 1990 with an independent film called " Daredreamer". Shortly after that filmed released he packed up and moved to Los Angeles, California to pursue his new dream of acting.
Of course we all famously know him as the best dad in the world in the Twilight Saga. Chief Charlie Swan. He gets the great honor of being Kristen Stewart " Bella Swan's" father. You can also see him in past Movies such as Ladder 49, Untraceable, and Along Came a Spider. He has also dabbled in television and is know for acclaimed roles in shows: 24, Gilmore Girls and The Closer.
Interesting fact about Billy Burke his daughter Bluesy LaRue Burke was born during the making of Twilight... A lucky year for him I guess :)
Married to Pollyanna Rose since 2005 and they happily still live in LA together the 3 of them.
His trade mark mustache is grown for his role as Chief Swan and immediately removed after he wraps. He is not a fan of the hairy beast.
You can see him in November as he reprises his role in Breaking Dawn.
